Third-Floor Assisted Living Renovation Project in process.

Third-Floor Assisted Living Renovation Project in process.

Thanks to the generosity of donors, the success of 30th anniversary events and the Holy-In-One Fund-A-Need,
a refresh of the third-floor assisted living area is in process. The refresh will include new flooring,
upgraded lighting and an updated color palette on the walls for a more inviting look and feel, and new
furniture in the common areas. Following is a letter that Executive Director Mark Yantek wrote about the project.

A LETTER FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The day has finally arrived! The time is here! I am happy to announce that our 3rd floor Assisted Living renovation project is about to begin.

Many of you are aware that we have been raising funds and making plans to refresh the look of the public spaces on the 3rd floor. All proceeds from our "Fund-A-Need" auction at last year’s Holy In One golf outing, as well as all proceeds from our 30th Anniversary Gala, were earmarked for this project. Combined with individual donations from generous friends of Regina Health Center, we were able to raise much of the amount needed to complete the renovation. We continue to fundraise in the hope of being able to refresh the entire 3rd floor public spaces. For now, we plan to start with building B, which comprises the center portion of the facility.

The work to be completed includes new flooring in the corridor & public spaces. The carpeting will be removed and replaced with hardwood-look LVT. The renovation work also includes new ceiling tiles and new lighting and wall sconces. Walls throughout the public spaces will receive a fresh coat of paint, and furniture in lounges and sitting areas will be replaced as well. The end result will be a fresh, bright, updated look that will support and enhance the needs of our Assisted Living residents.

The renovation work will be done in sections. Residents may be asked to vacate the work area for several hours at a time on the day(s) that work is being done outside their rooms. It is not anticipated that residents will be significantly inconvenienced by this project. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

We are excited to bring this much-needed upgrade to our Assisted Living. If I can answer questions or provide more information for anyone, please feel free to reach out to me. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation as we strive to improve the environment for our Assisted Living residents.

Sincerely,

Deacon Mark Yantek
Executive Director
